Compact Turnstile TT303-Group

Compact pedestrian access control where space and throughput matter.

The TT303 is a compact motorised tripod turnstile designed to provide reliable, controlled pedestrian access where space is limited. Its small footprint, smooth motorised operation and high pedestrian throughput make it well suited to busy entrances in commercial, leisure, education and transport environments.

Why Choose the TT303?

A motorised solution that removes the need for manual resetting.

Manual turnstiles require staff to physically lift the arm after a power failure or emergency release. The TT303's motorised drive mechanism removes this requirement.

When power is restored or the emergency condition returns to normal, the TT303 arm automatically returns to its closed position, allowing the entrance to be put back into service without someone having to manually reset the turnstile:

  • No manual resetting after an emergency/power interruption.

  • Motor-assisted, smoother operation.

  • Fewer mechanical components – reducing mechanical complexity and wear.

  • Compact footprint.

  • Access-control integration.

Designed for today's commercial environments.

The TT303 is suitable for a wide range of environments where reliable pedestrian entrance control is required.

What version do we hold in UK stock?

The table below is a summary of the standard TT303 configuration we keep in UK stock. Additional configurations and options may be available to order — please contact us for details.

Safety & Emergency Operation

The turnstile arms automatically drop on power failure or activation of the emergency input. When power is restored or the alarm returns to normal, the arms automatically reset.

The TT303 is designed to meet the relevant safety requirements of BS EN 17352:2022, which addresses the following hazards:

  • Crushing, shearing and drawing-in.

  • Impact and trapping.

  • Imprisonment.

Access Control & Operation

The TT303 can integrate with most access-control readers and scanners, including contactless and biometric systems. Each direction of travel can be configured for FREE, BARRED or CONTROLLED operation.

Throughput is approximately 15–25 people per minute, depending on the access-control system and the speed and behaviour of users.

For controlled operation, the turnstile uses a volt-free normally open relay contact. The relay should close for no more than one second to release the turnstile.

Bidirectional operation requires a separate relay contact for each direction.
