The TT301 motorised tripod turnstile complies with BS EN 17352:2022 and incorporates safety features designed to address hazards associated with crushing, shearing, drawing-in, impact, trapping and imprisonment.

The emergency drop-arm function allows the arms to drop following a power failure or activation of the emergency input. The mechanism automatically resets when power is restored or the emergency condition clears.

Emergency release: Arms drop when the emergency input is activated.
Power failure: Arms drop when power is lost.
Automatic reset: Arms return to their normal position when power is restored or the emergency condition clears.

The TT301 motorised tripod turnstile provides controlled pedestrian access and integrates with compatible access-control systems. Each direction can be configured independently for free passage, restricted passage or authorised access:

Three operating modes: FREE, BARRED and CONTROLLED.
Access-control integration: Compatible with most third-party systems, including card readers, scanners and biometric devices, subject to interface compatibility.
Controlled passage: Uses a volt-free, normally open relay contact to trigger passage.
Bidirectional operation: Separate relay contacts are required for each direction when both directions are controlled.

Throughput is approximately 15–25 people per minute, depending on access-control response time and user behaviour.

Is the TT301 suitable for wheelchair access? No. A standard tripod turnstile does not provide a wheelchair-accessible passage. Where wheelchair access or a wider passage is required, a suitable alternative, such as the Evolve SG100 swing gate, should be provided alongside it.
